Campus JAX Newport Beach at 5 pm w tix starting at $15
Hillbilly Jazz returns with a remarkable pairing of two rising stars in honky tonk and rhythm & blues. It’s a late matinee show and you can arrive as early as 4 pm – just in time for dinner from the full Campus JAX MENU!
Geoffrey Miller is one of the best honky tonk singer/songwriters on the West Coast.
Miller follows up the release of his new CD – All Night Honky Tonk Man – with a rare appearance in the Southland. His full band will be onstage for this special show.
The media has said that Abby Girl “is blessed with an impressive voice, which echoes Patsy Cline…a vintage sound that will also appeal to fans of early country music – or rock’n’roll.”
Those of you who have followed her career know that Abby Girl can belt out vintage R&B, county classics and soul with equal aplomb, backed up by a veteran band which plays her original music as professionally as her covers.

“Newport Beach’s only supper club”, Campus JAX features cabaret-style shows with dining, dancing, and seating at tables or the bar in an intimate listening room.
Christopher Burkardt’s Stellar Shows (some of you may remember their shows at Don the Beachcomber) puts on a good number of Swing-danceable bands there every month. There is a large stage and good dance floor.
It is a supper club so a purchase is required, but there is no drink minimum. Food is Cajun/Creole and gets an impressive four-and-a-half stars on Yelp. Dinner prices range from $10-$18. Of course, there’s also a full bar.
They put out multiple water tanks for dancers. Everybody has a seat – but you need not stay in your seats!
