Hours: Doors open 07:45pm for series classes, social dance starts at 09:00pm
Cost: $20 if ticket purchased before 05/05, $25 at the door]

We cordially invite you to join us at LindyGroove to celebrate our 25th Anniversary on May 07, 2026. We’ll be hosting a live band performance by the amazing Jonathan Stout and His Campus Five! LindyGroove opened its doors in 2001 and throughout the years we have made long friendships, allow dancers to connect with one another, and all who enter express themselves through jazz and dance. We hope that you join us for this monumental Silver Anniversary. The social dance will start at 09:00pm and end at 11:59pm.

Just as a reminder to our series class students: If you’ve bought tickets to our May series classes, you don’t have to purchase this ticket; it’s already included with your purchase!

The price will go up after 05/05 11:59pm so get your ticket soon!

About the Venue: LindyGroove

LindyGroove was established in the early 2000s and has grown to be the largest and most popular weekly swing dance event in Southern California (and probably the US).  They operate once a week every Thursday night. Dancers of all skill levels come and dance from different places such as local colleges and Orange County.

Dress code – Informal, but dressing up is optional. It is recommended bringing a towel and a few t-shirts if you sweat easily.

Classes – There are two types of classes offered: Series classes and drop-in classes. Series classes are purchased as a whole for each month. The price depends on the number of Thursdays there are in a month so it may range from $60 – $75. Drop-in classes start at 09:10 pm. This is a 6-count class which invites those who have almost no experience in swing dancing.

Music – Various DJs come in from around the country and locally.

Dance Floor – There are two dance floors: One for swing dancing in the main dance hall and a side room for Blues and Fusion.

Parking – It is highly recommended to find street parking (free after 06:00pm) along Cordova St and Euclid Ave. There are some parking garages and parking lots around the area but rates are unknown at this time.

Editor’s Note: Unfortunately, the parking garage across the street is off-limits, but check this page for the latest parking info.

Live Music – Live bands are hosted a few times a year. Please check the website for more information and updates.

Food – Food is not offered at this time and there is not a bar. Bottles of water are available for purchase to guests.

Don’t miss their special events, like their famous Haunted Halloween Ball:

Lindygroove's 2018 Haunted Halloween Ball
Lindygroove’s 2018 Haunted Halloween Ball

Note, this is a hard-core swing dancing venue; there is no bar and no band to watch (except for special occasions).  It’s all about dancing. Not a good place to bring non-dancer friends (unless they want to take the lessons, which are excellent). If you want to dance, Lindy Groove is a great place to be! – Brian
