The only regularly-occurring Swing dance venue on the West Side, Rusty’s was a weekly Swing dance institution since 1998 until it was paused for COVID. Now it’s back as a monthly venue on the first Friday of every month. As always, it features some great live bands. Crowd is friendly with a very wide range of age groups and dance levels. This is a good place to take beginners who want to learn, as there is a lesson before the dance, and the atmosphere is non-intimidating.
2,300 Square foot dance floor, all ages, bar and lounge, plenty of free parking. 120 to 150 people attend!

In quick facts, a few dance venues like the Mayflower and Atomic Balloons listed as places where vaccinations are still required. Is this still the case?
Thanks for the head’s up.
I no longer see a vaccination requirement on Rusty’s event page, so I removed that. Same with Mayflower. I don’t think Atomic ever required vaccination; I never listed it as such.
It appears that Lindy Groove is one of the few venues that require proof of vaccinations. Thanks Brian!
