Two swingin’ bands pair up to bring you the Best from out of the West.
These two great groups co-headline an action-packed show at the coolest venue around – Crown City Dancehall.
The legendary Lucky Stars are fresh off their big 2023 Ameripolitan Award in Memphis for Western Swing group.
This well-deserved honor reflects not just their talent and popularity, but their lengthy history of extremely rare appearances. This is one of those!
James Intveld & the Honky Tonk Palominos are an amalgamation of top-notch honky tonk players led by James Intveld, himself an Ameripolitan winner in the Rockabilly category. As a bandleader, he has the innate ability to select the swingin’est tunes, turn them inside out, and make them his own.
His Palominos band continues to make the most memorable music. It is eminently danceable, and you will probably find yourself out there – whether you can dance or not.
18+, reserved seating available, parking all around, 2 bars, a pop-up grill for fresh food – and a huge dance floor.

This new hot spot has been featuring top-notch bands and drawing big turnouts from Swing dancers!
Crown City Dance is the name for Swing dance events at the Crown Theatre in Pasadena. This sumptuous space has a huge wooden dance floor with plenty of room to dance.
They feature live Swing bands on Monday nights plus other special Swing dance events. If you’re able to make it to Pasadena, you should definitely check this place out!
