Make your blues dancing feel “bluesy” by connecting with the emotion and rhythm of blues legacy music. You’ll learn to move with grounded steps that embody the emotions of the music, and improvise in response to both the music and your partner. By the end, you’ll be able to express the heart of blues through your dance.

This fraternal lodge is similar to others in Los Angeles where many Swing dances are held. It’s got a nice wood floor and lots of space to dance.
They have Swing dances most Friday nights. First Fridays feature DJs with special theme for the night, while other Fridays usually feature a popular live band. Dancer turnout is usually good!
They also offer complimentary popcorn and treats and an “open play” pool table (free pool).
